Extrusion press
Haginger has introduced a new press onto the market. The hydraulic of these presses is an innovation due to the new drive concept. It operates in an energy-efficient and low-noise manner and adapts performance to the actual performance requirements.
The following advantages are offered by the new development:
- energy efficient
- less noise
- no load losses
- less energy requirement compared to standard hydraulic systems
- less heat and thus ideal for air-conditioned production rooms
The horizontal 6.3 MN extrusion press is used for forming aluminium, copper, brass, steel, platinum, carbon, graphite and other materials. It works by direct pressing. The blocks are transported into the billet preheating furnace. They are then transferred directly to the press axis by a robot before being pushed from the press ram into the container. After carrying out a compacting process, the pressing process starts. The robot also lubricates the pressing disc. After the pressing process has been completed, the front side is also cleaned fully automatically.
