We produce draw benches for drawing tubes, rods and profiles from steel, copper, brass, platinum, aluminium and superconductors.
During the design phase, great importance is attached to simple and ergonomic operation for the operator. The mandrel is usually rotatably mounted and supported by pairs of driving rollers in the charging device, thereby enabling automatic threading of the tubes.
The drawing block in which the drawing dies are inserted is situated in the die frame. Further drawing blocks can be supplied on request. In this case, one drawing block can be equipped with tools while the other drawing block is still drawing. In many cases, a semi-automatic handling system is used for manipulating the drawing block. The drawing machine can be reloaded quickly and easily.
The drive of the draw bench is performed by hydraulic cylinders or spindles for short drawing lengths and by chain or gear rack for long drawing lengths. The drive by gear rack has the substantial advantage that the relief impulse is reduced by the large mass of the gear rack. The operation of the draw bench is vibration-free and low-noise.
