Piston extrusion press
Our latest innovation is the Piston Extrusion Press 4.0, which combines energy efficiency with enhanced performance. The smallest extrusion speed in this press is 0.003 mm/s. Ergonomic operation of our machines is important to us, which is why the press axis can be adjusted at an angle of 0 - 90 °. In addition, the entire press axis can be lowered for filling.
We use a hydraulic cylinder with a rapid-travel cylinder integrated in the piston rod. This allows rapid traverse speeds of up to 85 mm/s. The hydraulic unit is operated by a servomotor, which is responsible for the exact control of the press speed. No additional proportional valves are necessary.
We use a high-precision measuring system for measuring of the distance that enables constant control of the extrusion speed.
The container is both heatable and coolable. It is ensured that the medium is distributed evenly over the entire length and can be monitored and regulated via a temperature sensor. Shrunk carbide bushes offer optimum wear characteristics for long-lasting use. Furthermore, the friction in the container is reduced by the particularly smooth surface of the bushes.
The pressing disc is equipped with a quick-release fastener for quick and easy changeover. The disc has a labyrinth seal, which ensures optimal sealing between the disc and the recipient. Simple and fast cleaning is possible thanks to the rotatable press disc.
The carbide is pressed under vacuum, thereby achieving the highest quality of rods.
